• What if I'm a beginner, are these courses for me?

    Courses are for all levels, and if you're a beginner you can check out the "Basics" course to get you started which is included in both the FREE and paid membership plans.

  • What supplies are needed for the lessons?

    Each lesson will include a supply list as they do vary per subject matter. However many of the courses are done with simple supplies such as an A4 piece of drawing paper, pencil, pen, eraser, brush, and a basic set of watercolours. Some of the "Paint Together" lessons we work on a smaller canvas with acrylics or oils. For these lessons Julian usually demonstrates on a canvas around 30x30cm but students can scale to their desired size. There are a few other lessons that deal with a specific technique such as collage, so supplies will vary but all will be introduced and explained before each lesson.

  • What if I have a specific question or need personalized help?

    We encourage students to be active on the Online Community page where you can discuss your work with other students as well as with Julian. For a more dedicated, one-on-one time you can book Private Sessions with Julian at 30 and 60-min intervals. (Use the PRIVAVE SESSIONS link in the main menu)

  • Do you offer in-person lessons?

    Julian hosts various in-person art retreats each year at his studio in Italy and also at other special locations around the world. You can view the full calendar at EASELANDLENS.COM.

  • Can I upgrade my monthly membership to an annual one instead?

    If you have two subscription price options for your course, students can choose if they want to change their plan. You can Yes, to change your plan, you will first need to cancel your current monthly membership and re-enroll for the annual. Note that your monthly membership will remain active even after cancellation until your next renewal date. So you can choose to enroll in the annual plan on the original renewal date as to not overlap any unneeded payments. You can manage you billing from you Student Dashboard, by clicking you name/photo in the top-right corner, My Account, then Billing. Additionally, regardless of where you are in the course when you cancel, when you enroll again with the new membership type your progress will be saved and you will be able to resume the lessons where you left off!

  • What if I need to cancel a membership?

    We would be sorry to see you go, but you can cancel your monthly or annual memberships at anytime, so that they will not renew. If you cancel your subscription, will still have access to the lessons until the next renewal or billing date occurs and no payment is made, at which time your access will be revoked. You can manage you billing from you Student Dashboard, by clicking you name/photo in the top-right corner, My Account, then Billing. Please be advised that no pro-rating or refunds will be given for any reason.
