MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Julian Hyzler

Senior Instructor

Julian has been teaching students of all ages and abilities for over 30 years. He initially trained at art schools in the UK before specialising in Illustration in London, working for many prestigious clients as a freelancer. Since then he has led hundreds of week-long trips to Italy and around the world, developing over the years an understanding of the Cities and the History of Art in Florence, Rome, Siena, Naples and Venice with his company EASELANDLENS.COM. The atmosphere generated in the studio is always relaxed and friendly, whilst also being productive and lively, and you can expect positive encouragement to try new ideas as and when you feel confident to do so. Teaching art requires energy, patience and an ability to get as much out of each student as possible, and Julian always strives to do this, whether teaching painting and drawing, photography, design, or illustration. You're sure to benefit greatly from his knowledge, skill, and patience as a seasoned instructor.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Join in an opportunity to work alongside Julian in his Virtual Studio. Receive private, one-on-one instruction via Zoom. It’s a chance to start and complete a brand new project, hone your technical skills, or refresh some existing work! Choose how and when to use your class time together. This is a great way to get help or check the work you've completed during a course in the MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS ALL LEVELS WELCOME - From beginner to professional, these virtual lessons are valuable to expand your abilities, skills, and range of possibilities. In a fun and relaxed atmosphere, you’ll be able to receive the time and attention you’ll need to accomplish your goal of either continuing on current work, or creating something new for the first time! Each private, online lesson will be scheduled based on availability, and conducted through Zoom. We will send complete instructions on how to easily connect to this after sign up. All you’ll need to do is click the link and we’ll be waiting! Available time slots will be provided on sign-up and there is a wide option available to accommodate students from various timezones.
